Independent study highlights some challenges in implementing the landing obligation across EU fisheries

The European Commission published an independent study assessing the performance of the landing obligation. Five years after its full implementation, the study concludes that the landing obligation has not reached its full potential. The experts engaged in the study will present it during an online event that will take place on Tuesday 8 July 2025, 14:00 – 16:30 (CEST). Registration is open to all interested parties.
